  Peter killed his wife Elizabeth Evarts and attempted to kill his only child Hannah. For which on 16 Oct 1667 he was executed, though it may hardly be doubted that he was insane, as he had been several years before at Branford in 1658, whither he went to help his father and was taken the first day with insanity.
