- John came perhaps in the "Abigail" 1635, aged 30, with wife Ann, also 30, from some part of Kent. Joined the church 22 May 1641 and was administered freeman 2 Jun 1641. He was of Artillery Company 1639, and in 1657 the richest man in the town. A Captain and Representative 1668. [1]
