| Notes |
- Came from England 1637 with wife Catherine and children. In 1641 he removed to Scituate and in 1654 to Cambridge. He was bred at Westminister school and saved on 5 Nov 1605 by the discovery of a gunpowder plot. At Trinity College in Cambridge he took his degrees AB 1613, AM 1617, and BD 1624. He became President of this college in 1654. [2]
