  • Notes
    • Was a mariner (shipmaster). By his will he gave wife Mary his dwelling house and other estate, names no children but fully indicated his relations, father Samuel of Chelmsford, to whom he gives £20 in ready money, a negro girl to his mother Esther for life, and next to Rebecca Waldo and at her death, to Susanna Waldo, but with condition "she shall not serve above 20 years from this time". Also speaks of his uncle Thomas Graves, and calls Nathaniel, Joseph and Benjamin Adams his brothers, and Esther his sister who should have residual of his property after his wife's death. [1]
