    • Jerome accompanied his father to Kingsville, OH and continued to live there about eight years after his marriage. He then moved to Battle Creek, MI, where he remained twenty-four years, and then removed to Burlington, MI. Jerome held the office of deputy-sheriff of Calhoun County, and elected a justice of the peace, and held the office of treasurer of the township.
