| Notes |
- Benjamin died of typhus fever. "Although he made no pretensions to the ministry, he was much drawn toward the Indian Mission, and proposed to consecrate his life to such useful Christian labors among the natives as he could perform. Having ordered his clothing and effects to be applied to the use of the mission, he departed this life, 3 Nov 1822, in full assurance of a blissful immortality."
