  • Notes
    • Alfred and Vielda raised Berton Frink as Berton Day until he chose to resume his surname of Frink where he was grown. Bert's parents were separated when he was taken to raise by the Day family at nine months of age. The Days had no children at that time. He was a retired Sioux City NE detective who lived at 208 1/2 Fifth St. in Sioux City, NE. The funeral was held at the Congregational Church at Coleridge, NE with the Rev. Walter Voss, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Masonic services were conducted.
