- In 1906 was living at 1472 Edgecombe Place, Chicago, IL. Julius served 3 years with the Army of the Potomac in the 37th Massachusetts Volunteers. He was a First Lieut. when mustered out at the end of the Civil war. After the war he went to Cedar Rapids, IA, and then to Omaha in 1869 in the employ of the Union Pacific RR, from there to Boom, IA, and then to Chicago in 1882.
