- He was a freeman in 1705. Brander of horses. Constable in 1707, selectman from 1731-1742, often the moderator, deputy from 1715-1731, Justice of the Peace from 1726-1735, guardian of the Pequot Indians. He was also ensign of the 1st Company in 1716, lieutenant 1721, and captain in 1728. [7]
