    • Springfield College 1906. He served as secretary of the Washington Heights, NYC, branch of the YMCA until the terminal illness of his wife's mother necessitated a return in about 1917 to Hartford, CT, where he was Inland Marine Superintendant for the Aetna Life and Phoenix Fire Insurance Companies before retirement in 1946.
